Areas of Specialisation
Model of Practice
Drawing on Family therapy and Cognitive Analytic models, Julian believes that people and their problems are best understood by taking into account the context in which the problem is occurring. Common contexts are school, family and work. A central assumption within this approach is that all behaviour, even the most seemingly undesirable, can be understood and that once understood, people are freed to find alternative, more adaptive ways of functioning. There is no place for blame within this approach, only understanding.

Fees are $160 (inc GST) for a 50 minute session. Payment is by cash or cheque at the time of appointment. To avoid late cancellation fees Julian requires notice of at least 24 hours.
